Meet The Face Behind Rōan Interiors

I’m Anna Zabriskie, the proud owner of Rōan Interiors. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

As far as I can remember, I was always interested in design and interior decoration. From junior school, I remember scribbling my dreams on scrap paper and eventually went to design school to further my ambitions. I never foresaw starting my own business straight out of college, but the fact I had clients before I’d graduated made me hasten the decision. I started Anna Geilman Interiors in early 2016 and rebranded to Rōan Interiors this year. 

With my interest in design beginning early, I also saw first hand the importance and influence reality television and programming related to home improvement had over our community and the world. I feel my qualification and experience in designing creative interiors over the past few years have provided me with invaluable insight into how my clients would like to review their space before signing the dotted line and commissioning a project. I am proficient in 3D home design software and rendering tools, giving my clients powerful technology to view their prospective designs with photorealistic three-dimensional visuals and give them peace of mind knowing they are getting the best design to suit their individual space.  

I believe our homes and personal spaces reflect our various states of mind, and I love helping my clients feel like their homes are an extension of their positive selves. I take great pride in the spaces I design and believe they directly correlate to my customers’ superior physical and mental health. I love that my clients are an extension of my family and never fail to recommend their children and acquaintances whenever possible. I attribute my success to my clients’ loyalty and strive to repay the honor with exemplary service and innovative designs. As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from my competitors is my commitment to honesty, my never-say-die attitude, and my ongoing quest for personal growth. 

I have the best job in the world, not a day goes by without this being glaringly obvious. I consider myself extremely lucky to have the opportunity to make a wildly successful career doing what I love, and it shows in my commitment and innovative designs. 

When I’m not at work, I enjoy my downtime with my amazing family and friends. I have three children that don’t fail to keep me on my toes. I love spending time with my family, however, my love of design and architecture sometimes spills over into my personal life as well. I enjoy visiting local historical sites with my kids as I see it as a fun learning experience for them with the bonus of innovative ideas and design cues for me. I am also committed to helping our community and am involved with research into designing for those with sensory integration disorders. I have authored a handbook to help caregivers and other designers create safe spaces for those with disorders such as autism.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
